National Doughnut Week takes place from 9th to 16th May 2015.

Back in 1991 independent baker, Christopher Freeman, founded National Doughnut Week with the aim of raising money for children’s charities. In the last 24 years the sale of over 14 million doughnuts has raised over £787,000 for various charities. £312,000 of that money has gone to The Children’s Trust, which became the chosen charity for the cause in 2005.
